Robert L. Douce (düce) is 64 and lives in an equestrian community in St. Johns, Florida with his wife, Patty and his loyal companion Border Collie/Brittany Spaniel, Rusty. He has one son, Andrew and a daughter, Laura who live in the area. Robert was born in Wooster, Ohio and attended Northwestern H.S., but graduated from high school in Tavares, Florida. He retired as a coach, educator, career specialist, and career academy coordinator after 35 years of service from Englewood High School, Florida in 2003.
He is a Custom Writer, and developer of electronic and hard copy Academic & Career Portfolios on student educational plans for schools, colleges, and national organizations. He developed the National certified and approved Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security Portfolios for high school students in the “career cluster” training program. As of 2009, he is Vice President of Talent Development, Inc. for Employee Performance Development Portfolios and Management Services serving the corporate community.
Fernando A. Amandi (ah-MAN-dee) is 60 and resides in Coral Gables, in St. Johns, Florida, and in a mountain home in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. He is married to Teresita, his wife of 37 years. They have a son Fernand, daughter Theresa and his Godson Christian who all live in South Florida. Fernando was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma in 2007 and is now a cancer survivor in complete remission.
In 1960, at the young age of 11, his parents sent him to the United States to flee communism and dictatorship in Cuba. He has since lived in Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, London, England, and Buenos Aires, Argentina while working as a senior executive and general manager for four US multinational companies during a very rewarding 33 year career. He is in the constant company of his three loving dogs, two King Charles Cavaliers, Biggie and Bettie, and the gentle Golden Retriever, Boomer. |
